Théâtre du Casino Barrière Deauville
Inaugurated in 1912, the Théâtre du Casino Barrière Deauville opened its history with a performance by Serge Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes and has since held a singular place in the history of European ballet.

Throughout the twentieth century its stage welcomed many of the great figures of dance from the Ballets Russes to Rudolf Nureyev, for whom Deauville became one of the first symbolic places of his international career.

Inspired by the architecture of the Royal Opera of Versailles, the theatre remains today one of Deauville’s emblematic cultural venues.
